Cornishware Case Study

Cornishware is synonymous with iconic blue and white stripe designed pottery.  It’s rumoured that the stripes were originally inspired by the ‘blue of the Cornish skies and the white crests of the waves’!
It seems fitting that when Cornishware decided to dip their ceramic toes into a custom jigsaw project, that they chose their signature ‘blue and white’ trademark colour for their first puzzle.
Having undertaken a repatriation journey with their production now in the UK, it was important for Cornishware to work with a British manufacturer.  All Jigsaw Puzzles is a perfect partner as our factory in Devon isn’t too far away from Cornishware’s South West base. Being members of ‘Made in Britain’ means this prestigious logo is also proudly displayed on the tray base of their jigsaw box.
Cornishware decided to launch their first custom puzzle as a 1000 piece, rectangle jigsaw, knowing that their customer base would love this size.  When completed it measures 66 x 50 cm.

All Jigsaw Puzzles has an in-house design team on hand to produce jigsaw box design concepts for clients if needed, however, Cornishware preferred to create their own artwork.

When clients chose this route, we supply all necessary digital templates and instructions required.

When we received the completed artwork from Cornishware, it was checked and after a few tweaks, was signed off and made ready for production.

Our lead time is 4 weeks from artwork sign off and a paid proforma invoice for the first order. All subsequent orders are placed on a 30 day invoice account.  This custom jigsaw was signed off by Cornishware, placed on the production schedule and delivered 4 weeks later.

Ther first jigsaw was such a huge success it nearly sold out overnight!

Cornshware placed a re-order immediately and continues to be a popular retail line for them.

We can’t wait to see what colour Cornishware choose for their next jigsaw?!
