Every now and then we get sent an image to turn into a custom made jigsaw that gets the whole warehouse buzzing. Such was the effect of being contacted by Mr Bingo. He has over 158K Instagram followers and this London-based artist and illustrator didn’t disappoint with his puzzle image.
His humorous and irreverent 500 piece puzzle says ‘Now that it’s finished, all I feel is lost and empty’ and stands apart from the typical nostalgia driven images that dominant the puzzle market. Here is an artist creating a retail puzzle for his London shop that will be bought by people who may never have even bought a puzzle before, but know they want to complete his when they see it.
The accompanying box design we adored as well and puts graphic design right at the heart of the product creation.
All in all this job was a dream to work on and illustrates beautifully that with imagination and talent you can push the jigsaw retail market to a new audience without even realising it.
